LDBE Primary RE Curriculum

In response to the latest reports and national guidance—including the National Content Standard for RE (2023), the Ofsted RE Subject Report (2024), and the Religion and Worldviews Curriculum Guidance (2024)—the Lincoln Diocesan Board has developed a comprehensive suite of curriculum resources designed to empower RE leaders and teachers.

These high‑quality materials span Early Years (FS2) through to upper Key Stage 2, offering ready‑to‑use medium‑term plans complete with embedded resource links. Each unit has been carefully crafted to support a Religion and Worldviews approach, ensuring a balanced and meaningful exploration of Abrahamic, Dharmic, and non‑religious worldviews.

Developed to meet current expectations and enrich classroom practice, this new resource set gives schools clear, confident curriculum guidance rooted in national priorities and effective RE pedagogy.

Schools and academies can access this in two ways:

One-off payment - £350 (£175 for infant / junior schools)

What is included?

  • A curriculum plan that can be delivered as single-form entry or as a two-year cycle
  • EYFS, KS1 and KS2 medium-term planning with embedded resource links
  • Identification of core substantive and disciplinary knowledge
  • Sequencing narrative to show how knowledge builds over time
  • Identification and mapping of key vocab

What is included?

  • A curriculum plan that can be delivered as single-form entry or as a two-year cycle
  • EYFS, KS1 and KS2 medium-term planning with embedded resource links
  • Identification of core substantive and disciplinary knowledge
  • Sequencing narrative to show how knowledge builds over time
  • Identification and mapping of key vocab
  • 3 x RE-related virtual CPD sessions for one member of staff (one per year)
  • Annual updates to curriculum resources to reflect national changes
  • Opportunity for small schools to have a one-hour session per year to create a bespoke curriculum plan
  • Opportunity to adapt some units of study to reflect school context

The pricing structure below is designed for all schools and academies, but particularly reflects the context of Federations or Multi-academy Trusts.

First three schools charged at £295 each per year

The fourth to the ninth school charged at £150 each per year

The tenth school and above charged at £99 each per year

Infant and Junior Schools will have a reduced rate of £150 per

Please note this RE Curriculum can only be used by VA schools, SATS and MATS.  All VC, Local Authority Schools must follow the Locally Agreed Syllabus
