This session, led by Gillian Georgiou, looks at the latest research on developing writing across the key stages and considers ways in which this can be supported through the delivery of the RE curriculum. It introduces a number of possible approaches to developing writing in RE, looking at practical opportunities to develop pre-writing, writing and reviewing skills. The session considers the impact that developing writing can have on pupils’ knowledge and understanding of religion and worldviews.
