The programme aims will cover a range of aspects to support strong English subject
leadership in schools:

• monitoring tasks: writing scrutinies, learning walks, observations and feedback, etc.
• effective moderation of writing across all year groups;
• developing others in school, through a range of models;
• identifying next steps for whole school development in English and action planning to
meet these needs.

The course will also adopt a flexible approach to focuses which will develop an engaging
English curriculum to raise attainment and motivation in specific areas.

Jeannie Bullman has experience as Deputy Head of two schools and as English Subject Leader and many years as an Education Consultant. She specialises and provides training in all aspects of Primary English Teaching and Learning.

£320 per person for 2 days, £170 per person for 1 day
