Temporary Class Teacher - Weston Hills CofE Primary School

Class Teacher – Salary Scale – MPS


This is a temporary role for two terms from January 2021 to August 2021 due to a temporary change in leadership arrangements.


The Governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and highly motivated temporary teacher in our Year 1 / Year 2 class. The successful candidate will support our school’s Christian ethos to maintain high standards. Teaching Assistant - Weston Hills CofE Primary School

Teaching Assistant 15 hours per week (5 mornings)


TA1, Salary scale G3, Point 6-9 (FTE £18,562-£19,698) pro rata and equated based on 39 weeks per annum.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant with a minimum qualification of Cache Level 3 Award in Education to support children’s learning in Key Stage 2.
This will be a temporary contract for one term from January 2021 to April 2021 due to funding.

• Has experience of working in Key Stage 2

1:1 Teaching Assistant x 3 - Weston Hills CofE Primary School

Vacancy 1 – 30 hours per week
Vacancy 2 – 15 hours per week
Vacancy 3 – 15 hours per week

Please note that Vacancies 2 and 3 could be filled by one applicant.


We are seeking to appoint experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants with a minimum qualification of Cache Level 3 Award in Education to support children who have an EHCP. Posts are to start in January 2021.
TA1, Salary scale G3, Point 6-9 (FTE £18,562-£19,698) pro rata and equated, 39 weeks per annum.
These posts are temporary until assistance is no longer required and/or upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period or as a result of the child/children leaving the school, whichever is the earliest.

The role will involve:
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide support for additional needs, enhance development and facilitate inclusion

• Working in partnership with a range of external agencies
• Facilitating the implementation of children’s EHCPs
We need people who:
• Have experience of supporting pupils with specific learning needs
• Have experience of working in Key Stage 2
• Are resilient and able to cope with the physical demands that these posts will bring
• Work in a calm, caring but firm and supportive manner
• Can recognise that children need to develop independence to allow them to build on life skills

Finance, HR, Managing Change You don’t need to have experience of school governance because induction will be provided. What’s the commitment? 6 meetings a year and governor monitoring visits to school. What do the children say?
