Bereavement

'Never the Same'

School leadership resources for grief, bereavement and loss - based on the CofE Vision for Education:

Child Bereavement UK

We help children and young people (up to age 25), parents, and families, to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families:

Children's Bereavement Centre

The Children’s Bereavement centre supports children in the local area, their services are free and  you can refer children to them.   They also have some great resources on their website.

Here are some booklets to work through when a child has been bereaved, they are age related:

Death, Grief and Hope

In partnership with an experienced school chaplain, this booklet has been put together by Church Army to help youthworkers help young people who have been bereaved during the Covid 19 crisis.

It offers practical steps and a thoughtful approach, all shaped by years of experience of helping young people through grief.
