This session provides an overview of the key responsibilities of an RE subject leader, equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence to lead RE effectively within their school. It will explore statutory requirements, curriculum planning, types of knowledge in RE, and the expectations of both Ofsted and SIAMS inspections.

The session will also focus on monitoring, strategic leadership, and ways to develop and strengthen RE across the school. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to network with other RE subject leaders, share experiences and good practice, and benefit from the support of colleagues working in similar roles.
