All SATs MATs and VA schools are their Own Admission authorities (OAAs).  This brings specific legal responsibilities, as set down in the Schools Admissions Code.  This session will explore in practical terms what it really means for OAAs to fulfil their statutory obligations;  like going out to public consultation when a school or academy wishes to change its admission arrangements and setting clear over-subscription criteria.
